DESCRIPTION
The Lam Tsuen River nurtures a rich and diverse stream ecosystem. Artist Wallace Yiu Chun-wa, along with ecological guides of the Outdoor Wildlife Learning Hong Kong, will lead the public on an exploration of the ecological mysteries of this waterway. Participants will draw inspiration from the stream's inhabitants and use the natural materials collected on-site to create unique ceramic coasters.

Wallace Yiu Chun-wa
Wallace Yiu Chun-wa majored in ceramics and has exhibited in numerous local and international shows. Having established M.Y. Clay Ceramic Studio in 2017, he has extensive expertise in creating and teaching ceramics. He is a current member of the Contemporary Ceramic Society Hong Kong. Wallace's creative ideas are influenced by his stories and encounters with nature, and his creations incorporate the features and characteristics of local clay. He hopes to breathe fresh life into the ground by gathering and combining various types of clay and natural elements in his artistic creations.
Outdoor Wildlife Learning Hong Kong
Outdoor Wildlife Learning Hong Kong (OWLHK) is a professional environmental education organisation established in 2016. It is now a registered charity in Hong Kong. Through outdoor education, they aim to promote conservation and environmental education in Hong Kong. They care for the natural environment and are dedicated to environmental education. The OWLHK team shares one same vision: to contribute to and promote ecological conservation and environmental education in Hong Kong with passion, expertise, and ambitions.
